Santa Sleigh

The Santa Sleigh has been servicing the Centenary and surrounding suburbs for over 40 years.

In 1979 the Sleigh was built from a donated boat trailer by the Apex Club of Jindalee as a national project to raise money at Christmas time. Unfortunately, in 2005 the Apex Club folded, so in 2006 Centenary Community Connections brought the Santa Sleigh back to our suburbs.

Our volunteers really enjoy continuing the tradition, seeing the happiness, joy and smiles it brings to children and adults alike.

The Santa Sleigh accepts donations each year for local charities and groups. Over the years we have helped Zoe’s Place, Youngcare, Jindalee Rotary’s Tree of Joy, iSee Care hamper project and more recently supported the Drought Appeal through Aussie Helpers.

When you visit Santa, our collectors will be there and accept with many thanks’ donations of any size. A gold coin can really make a difference to making someone else’s Christmas really special.

The smile on your face will bring a smile to someone else.
